Razor announces collaboration with British Touring Car Championship

Global leading scooter and electric ride-on brand and manufacturer, Razor will once again be partnering with the 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), which starts 27^th April 2024. The Crazy Cart Championship is planned to be even bigger and better than last year’s inaugural championship with competing BTCC drivers, star guests, and industry names pitted against one another in chaotic yet fun races using Razor’s Crazy Cart XL.

Last year’s Crazy Cart championship proved immensely popular across the BTCC race weekends, with supporters and teams alike enjoying the spectacle of drivers racing each other on an easier to reach platform. The fun yet competitive races were initially spearhead by Nick Halstead, now known affectionately as Mr Crazy Cart, who races for the team EXCELR8, and will also be sponsored by Razor this year.

Drivers competing in the Crazy Cart Championship will differ race to race, with special guests taking part throughout the season, including Monster-sponsored athletes and star performers from other motorsport disciplines. Each race will be bolstered by the support of industry famous commentators, who are excited to see Razor’s Crazy Carts in action once again.

For this year’s Crazy Cart championship, drivers will use a brand-new super performance version of the Crazy Cart XL built specifically with the BTCC in mind. Razor’s Crazy Carts will take the spotlight after qualifying has been completed for each BTCC race, which comprises ten events in total. Competitors in the Crazy Cart championship will be able to showcase their multi-directional drifting skills in one of Razor’s flagship products.
